The late show!

Luke Spurling on debut scored a dramatic late winner to extend Long Melford’s 100% home record.

The game opened like an explosion after only 2 minutes some shoddy Melford defending allowed DEC ALLEN to put Gorleston Reserves ahead.

From the kick off Melford levelled when EVAN GLEDHILL  knocked home a rebound after good work by man of the match Jack Graham.

Melford went ahead on 66 minutes when CHARLIE GLOVER converted at the near post.

On 70 minutes Goreleston levelled when  JED GEORGE  found the net.

Just time for Melford to take three points when LUKE SPURLING fired home in added time.
