Defeat on the road

Away day blues continued for Long Melford who have won all three home matches but have lost all their away games.

Melford made the long journey to Parson Drove and never looked comfortable and never really created any real team cohesion throughout the game. 

The  home team went ahead after 26 minutes  JOAO AGULAR was allowed to run square to the Melford penalty area and his left foot shot found the net from ten yards.   

The lead doubled on 38 minutes  BRAD EASEY who looked well offside to all other than the linesman, followed up on his his rebounded shot to slot home.

Despite Melford having much of the second half and a couple of fingertip saves by the home keeper, Melford returned to Suffolk empty handed.

The Melford goal came after 76 minutes a Jack Graham shot was parried and EVAN GLEDHILL tapped the ball into the net.
