New coaching role for Jordan

Andy/04 Nov, 22/855/0
NewsU18s

Well done to Jordan Maynard who has joined our Under 18’s coaching team.

After recently completing his Introduction to Coaching Football qualification, Jordan will be assisting U18s manager Nathan Bartlett and his team with coaching duties.

Jordan will be combining his new coaching position with his current role as Matchday Facilities Manager – looking after the first and reserve teams at home matches on Saturday afternoons.

Jordan has made a very positive impact at the club over the past two seasons and we wish him the best of luck in his additional role as part of the Under 18’s coaching team.

We asked Jordan to say a few words for the website:

I am honoured to now have completed the Introduction to Coaching Football qualification, and to now have an additional role at the football club, to help our U18’s team progress through the season, and even into Step 5 football; whether that being in the Reserves, or the First Team.

I would like to thank Jamie Bradbury for inspiring me to start this journey into coaching. I would also like to extend my thanks to David Hennessey, and the rest of the management/coaching team for consistently answering my questions, and explaining them in depth for me to better understand.

I look forward to helping our Under 18’s Manager Nathan Bartlett, and Assistant Manager Josh Stokes – and to also be an additional hand to the First Team and Reserve management team in line with my Matchday Facilities Manager role.
