Early kick off for Reserves

Saturday’s reserve team home match kicks off at the earlier than usual time of 2pm.

The reason for the early kick off is to save energy by reducing the need for floodlights.

Thank you to our opponents Hadleigh United and the match referee for agreeing to kick off early.

Meanwhile our First Team are on the road tomorrow away to Walsham-le-Willows (3pm ko).

Unfortunately last night’s U18 match, having survived the rain earlier in the day, ultimately was postponed due to the fog.

Looking further back to last Sunday our Veterans won their opening home match 2-1 against Somersham. The goals for Melford were scored by Ashley Willings and Jordan Twyman.
