James Dormady injury update
Saturday’s reserve team match was abandoned when James Dormady was taken to hospital with a double fracture of the leg.
Reserve team manager David Hennessey sent us an update on James today:
James had surgery yesterday to insert rods into the broken bones. Surgery went well and we are hoping to have him home today. It’ll be a long rehab process but I’ve spoken to Geoff and we are going to arrange a whip round from all involved at the club as the poor lad will be off his feet for a good while as he recovers from the injury.
The 18-year-old forward was having an outstanding season and is top scorer for both the Reserves and Under 18s. Best wishes from us all at Long Melford FC to James for his recovery. We will of course keep everyone up to date on James’ progress.
