President’s Message
After a most turbulent season last term, culminating in relegation, I feel in the last two weeks the heartbeat of our Club is returning on the playing side and off the field of play.
I would like to place on record thanks to Mick Garbi our Chairman and our amazing Secretary Russell Meekings. Coupled with that I include our small band of LOYAL volunteers (WE NEED MORE).
Against Diss Town on Saturday, our newly appointed Manager “Macca” McConnell, will be in the dugout. Away from the dugout we have had a number of quality players join the Club, many instigated by Macca.
The Under 23s have an energetic and excellent Manager in Jordan Wheelans, please support when you can their games.
We have an Under 18s team in the Thurlow Nunn League, playing mid week under the guidance of Chris Matthews, please support Chris and his team. Local lads we still have some vacancies in that Under 18s team, if interested please make contact.
Thanks must go to all those who work very hard to keep our thriving Youth Section healthy.
Again the Club needs more volunteers particularly on Match Days if you can help speak to me on matchdays or phone me 01787 378149.
Come on you Villagers onwards and upwards!
Richard Kemp
