Long Melford Reserves moved up to 4th in the table with this victory at neighbours Cornard United.
The opening minutes were end to end and a cross into the box fell to Yiannis Yiasemis who turned and fired home a shot to put the visitors ahead.
Cornard reacted well and had good possession, shortly after, a Melford goal kick went straight down the middle and the Cornard player chipped the ball over the keeper and into the net to pull it back to 1-1.
Cornard continued to have good possession until Melford broke down the right and a great cross by Kyle Hurley was met once again in the box by Yainnis Yiasemis to put the visitors ahead again.
In the second half Melford came out and dominated possession, there were a few chances for the home team but a strong run into the box and shot from Melford captain Kyran Quelch was saved by the keeper but Robert Dormady was quick to react to put the ball into the net.
Shortly after a penalty was awarded to the visitors and this was dispatched by Kyran Quelch.
Two further goals were added, one for Cornard and one for Melford meaning the game ended with a 5-2 victory for Melford Reserves.
