Relegation to Step 6 confirmed

After a 10-year stay in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division our relegation to Step 6 is confirmed.

Looking back at our time at Step 5 there was only one top half finish (under the management of Jules Mumford in 2015/16), which shows how tough a challenge it was.

But we held our own for a long time and proved a lot of people wrong who thought the club would be relegated within a year or two.

Ironically what promised to be our best season (2019/20) was cut short by Covid.

Looking ahead to next season in the Thurlow Nunn First Division North there are some familiar opponents but also many clubs we haven’t met before.

Hopefully now the club can rebuild on and off the pitch and come back stronger.
