League allocations announced
Earlier today the FA announced league allocations for the 2022/23 season.
Despite finishing in the relegation zone, there is a reprieve for The Villagers as one of the clubs with the best PPG records across all Step 5 divisions in the country.
We had always hoped to stay up on the pitch, rather than a PPG spreadsheet. But we’ve been given a second chance and the hard work starts now to make the most of that good fortune.
Pictured below is how the Thurlow Nunn Premier will look next season. The clubs in green are promoted from Step 6, Soham Town Rangers in red are relegated from Step 4, while Long Melford are in pink which means reprieved.
