Much fancied for the League title, Kings Park Rangers emphasised their intent with a comfortable victory over Long Melford.
As seen in recent matches Melford seem to have a habit of early mistakes leading to early goals.
In the first minute the impressive Jack Graham came within inches of putting Melford ahead with a fine effort.
After only 5 minutes Kings Park went ahead, hesitation in the Melford defence allowed DANIEL COUSINS to rifle home.
On 19 minutes the second goal arrived after a scramble in the Melford goalmouth, saw the much travelled MATT HAYDEN convert from close range, as defenders might note the old coaching phrase was “if in doubt boot it out” still applies.
For much of the game Melford equalled their illustrious opponents, but lacked in any real attacking intent!
The second half was equally balanced, but Kings Park always had more threat going forward.
Three minutes before the end Melford fell to a quick counter attack with HARRY WILLOUGHBY lobbing Ben Moye in the Melford goal. CHENOBERET
