Melford pay the penalty!

Late drama at Stowmarket on Saturday as the home side scored a 90th minute winner from the penalty spot.

The Villagers opened in sloppy style and paid the price. After three minutes the home team went ahead a defensive clearance off the Melford  goal line saw the ball hit the back of keeper Jaden Smith and find the net.

The next goal came on11 minutes when Melford were exposed down their left flank and Stowmarket converted from close range.

The final ten minutes of the half saw Melford get into gear and on 45 minutes Ben Humphreys found WILL THORP in flight and the teenager took the ball round the home keeper to score.

The second half saw a much better Melford and soon into the half Caden Vine played in RYAN GIBBS and he lobbed the home keeper to score.

Under quite a bit of pressure Melford looked like they had managed a point, but in the 90^th minute the home team scored from the penalty spot.
