Hassan Ally scored for Long Melford in last night’s 2-1 defeat at Brantham Athletic.

Brantham were 2-0 up early on and despite going down to 10 men, they held on to record their first win of the season and leapfrog Melford in the table.

Up next the 1st Team travel to in-form Lakenheath on Saturday (26th August).

Meanwhile the Under 23s were 5-2 winners at Harwich & Parkeston last Saturday.

The goals were scored by Kyran Quelch (2), Ricky Verdades (2) and one from Luwa Luwabelwa.

The Under 23s host Lakenheath U23s this coming Saturday (26th August), 3pm kick off at the Skyline Networks Stadium.
