Our Condolences
It is with sadness we report the death of Phil Cadge (87 years old).
In the 1950/60s Phil was a regular defender in the Long Melford FC setup.
In recent years Phil was a regular supporter at home games. Also for a long period of time up to five years ago Phil did the marking of the pitches and other maintenance at LMFC.
He was also a very useful cricketer, playing for Sudbury, Long Melford and Wickham St Pauls where his property overlooked the village cricket square.
We send our condolences to Phil’s family and friends.
His funeral will take place at All Saints Church Sudbury September 11th at 11am.
