Under 18s back to winning ways

Long Melford Under 18s returned to winning ways on Thursday evening.

After recent defeats to Cornard and Halstead, the young Villagers bounced back to beat Witham Town 2-0 at Stoneylands.

Solly Howe and Ronnie Ward scored the goals.

After the match U18 manager Nathan Bartlett said:

A great performance from us against Witham. The scoreline didn’t reflect how the game went. We were dominant but a mixture of lacklustre finishing and an outstanding performance from their goalkeeper kept them in the game for the whole 90 minutes.
