League start date announced

The Thurlow Nunn League has agreed on start dates for the 2022/23 Season.

These dates are based on the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup being confirmed as Saturday 6^th August and the assumption that Step 6 sides will not be included in the FA Cup draws:-

Premier Division – Saturday 30^th July 2022

First Division North – Saturday 6^th August 2022

First Division South – Saturday 30^th July 2022

Reserve League – Saturday 3^rd September 2022

In order to accommodate the NLS Playoffs the final League fixtures will be scheduled to Saturday 22^nd April 2023 (Premier Division) and Saturday 15^th April 2023 (First Divisions).

No fixtures will be scheduled to Saturday 24^th December or Saturday 31^st December 2022, but there will be a full programme of minimal distance fixtures on Bank Holiday Monday 26^th December (ko 11am) and Bank Holiday Monday 2^nd January 2023 (ko 3pm). There will also be fixtures scheduled to Easter Monday 10^th April (ko 3pm).

Finalisation of fixture lists will be done once the FA Cup and FA Vase draws are released (probably early July) and fixture schedules for leagues higher up the pyramid become available. As such it is unlikely that any Thurlow Nunn League fixtures will be released before mid-July.

It is intended that the League Challenge Cup will return for 2022/23.
