Long Melford Reserves fought back from two goals down in today’s Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup tie at Bildeston Rangers.
Manager David Hennessey had this to say about the win:
A debut to remember for Billy Gray, he came off the bench after 30 minutes with us 2-0 down away from home after a shocking start and galvanised the team with a goal and an assist to see us secure a 4-2 win.
Under 18’s skipper Hugo Hertz got his first goal and was extremely effective wide on the right and latterly through the middle as a lacklustre start led to full on dominance. Well deserved winners in the end and through to the last eight of the Cup.
