Under 18s’ boss reflects on Halstead draw

Long Melford U18 manager Nathan Bartlett looks back on Thursday’s 2-2 draw with Halstead Town.

It was probably a fair result in the end as neither team could really capitalise on their spells of dominance.

Despite taking the lead twice we never really asserted ourselves or did enough to take all three points.

Two goals from James Dormady capped off two good moves from us but Halstead fought hard to not let the game get away from them.
