Want to play for Long Melford?

Our teams here at Long Melford are always welcoming new players to join our ever-growing, friendly club.

We run three senior sides at Stoneylands all competing in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League, with the first team operating in the Premier Division with games on Saturdays and often in midweek, too.

They will also be playing in the FA Cup, FA Vase, Suffolk Premier Cup and Eastern Counties League Challenge Cup this season.

Our reserve team will mainly turn out on Saturday afternoons, too, with the occasional midweek game.

Meanwhile, the U18s team will play their games and train during midweek.

All teams have an open pathway to the first team, and if players work hard and show a great attitude, chances to progress will come their way.

And we are always on the lookout for new blood to come to Stoneylands in what is an exciting period for the Villagers, with the brand new clubhouse set to open in time for the new season.
