Results round-up

News

The 1st Team’s bottom of the table clash at Sheringham ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Sheringham raced into an early two goal lead and looked to be heading to victory when Melford’s Patrick Campbell was sent off.

However, despite playing with 10 men for an hour, Melford fought back in impressive fashion.

Two goals in the final 10 minutes from Josh Fenton Jones and Anthony Wilberforce McDonald earned Melford a valuable point.

A tough day for the Under 23s who were beaten 4-1 by Haverhill Rovers at the Skyline Networks Stadium.

Ethan Nyatanga scored the consolation goal for Melford.

The Under 23s will hope to bounce back tomorrow (Wed 30th Oct) at home to Wickham Market in the Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup (7.45pm).
