U18 manager on Halstead match

Long Melford U18 manager Nathan Bartlett looks back on Thursday’s 4-3 home defeat to Halstead Town.

Thursday night was a true game of two halves. After a very poor first half and even first 5 minutes of the second we were lucky to make the score line seem more respectable. Halstead Town were deserved winners, a very well drilled and organised side. We did start to play some nice football towards the end of the game when the pressure was off and the result decided.
