Lewis Brennan joins Long Melford

News

The club is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Lewis Brennan from Wivenhoe Town (who we thank for their assistance in getting this done).

Lewis joins us having captained the Dragons as well as enjoying previous stints at Halstead Town and Cornard United amongst other clubs.

He goes straight into the matchday squad for tomorrow’s home match against Ely City.

Manager David Hennessey had this to say about our newest addition:

We are very pleased to add Lewis to the squad. He adds experience, quality and depth to our midfield group and can also add cover in the full back positions.

Lewis is a talented all-rounder who I’m confident can make the transition to step 5 easy enough.

Alongside Lewis we are also pleased to add Henry Wright (Harwich & Parkeston), Jack Saunders (Cornard), Sam Holt and Ashley Rollins (both unattached) to the club. Thank you to the respective clubs for helping get these done.
