Under 18’s manager Nathan Bartlett was pleased to see his team progress to the next round of the FA Youth Cup.

Melford won 1-0 at Thetford Town last night, with Joe Bentley scoring the winner.

Reflecting on the win, Nathan had this to say:

It was a hard fought game as a young Thetford side battled hard. However we began to impose ourselves in the second half and took the lead. The goal came from a well worked short corner crossed in by Luke. By no means our best performance, but we got the result and into the next round.
