Reserves pre-season continues
Our Reserves continued preparations for the new season with a very creditable 2-2 draw last night against Bildeston first team.
Melford went ahead after 8 minutes when RICKY VERDADES (pictured) fired home from the edge of the box.
In the second half Melford had two golden opportunities but failed to convert.
The equaliser came on 55 minutes when a free kick found ANT WAUGH who headed home.
On 83 minutes Melford were awarded a penalty and WILL WINGFIELD converted.
On the 90th minute Bildeston levelled when a free kick was poorly defended and ELLIS SMITH converted from close range.

The Reserves under new manager Darren Thomas have one more friendly (away to Wivenhoe Town Reserves this Saturday) before the new season, which starts on 3rd September at home to Walsham-le-Willows.
