After last week’s defeat at Halstead the Reserves returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion.
The Villagers reserve side went back top of the League, whilst the brave, young and plucky Diss Town second string remained bottom of the League.
In keeper Alfie Chenery, Diss have a brave and talented young keeper, without his fine efforts the score would gone well beyond double figures.
Again it was a great entertainment spectacle for the home supporters and some very concise fluent football played by manager Dave Hennessey’s squad.
A penalty after three minutes and CHARLIE COY stroked the ball home.
After 12 minutes some fine individual play by JAMES DORMADY and the Melford starlet opened his account.
Again some brilliant football from Melford saw JAMES DORMADY make it three after 24 minutes
Some good inter passing by Melford, saw ISMAIL MARSHALL make it four after 27 minutes.
The tally reached five on 41 minutes when a fantastic highly skilled volley from PERRY NEWMAN put the icing on the cake.
On 44 minutes the hardworking ALFIE PARNELL deservedly scored from close range.
The seventh goal arrived after 59 minutes with a fine diagonal shot from CALLUM HEMSON finding the net.
A great cheer went up after 84 minutes when JAMES DORMADY rifled home from the angle for his hat trick goal.
On 87 minutes Melford were awarded a penalty taken by Chris Collins but it was well saved by keeper Chenery in the Diss goal.
