Ross Waugh scored the winner in a hard fought Suffolk derby last night.
With both teams recording impressive results at the weekend, this always looked likely to be a close contest and so it proved.
Melford will be pleased to pick up three points despite not being at their best on the night.
The win lifts Jamie Bradbury’s side up to 11th in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division.
