Two first-half goals condemned Melford to defeat at Stoneylands yesterday.
Thetford took a deserved lead after 24 minutes and doubled their advantage through Elliott Smith in the 31st minute.
In the second half the Villagers came close on a couple of occasions but couldn’t make a breakthrough and overall Thetford were good value for their 2-0 win.
