Photo of 1888 Suffolk Challenge Cup winners donated

The Football Club was delighted to receive an original framed photo of Long Melford’s 1888 Suffolk Challenge Cup winners.

The photograph, which is still in its original ornate Victorian frame, was donated by a gentleman in London who came by it in an auction.

We thank him very much for this very nice gesture, which is a welcome addition to our ever-expanding collection of historic Long Melford FC photos and memorabilia.
