Long Melford were knocked out of the FA Vase in Buckinghamshire on Saturday.
Risborough are top of the Spartan South Midlands Premier and are unbeaten in over 40 league matches.
And they proved too strong on Saturday, although Melford could not be faulted for effort and tested home keeper Jack Brooker on several occasions.
Conceding the opening goal a few minutes before half-time was a blow for Melford, when the home side’s top scorer Marcus Wylie curled a free-kick into the top corner.
Wylie doubled the lead early in the second half and three minutes later Liam Enver-Marum scored the third to put the game beyond Melford’s reach.
