A disappointing start to the new season for Long Melford who made the long journey to Lincolnshire on Saturday to face Holbeach United.
The home team went ahead early in the first half after 13 minutes from the spot through ALPHA WRURRIE.
Melford levelled after 53 minutes summer signing EVAN GLEDHILL with his first goal for the club.
Holbeach restored their lead after 76 minutes from a free kick from REBAB ALI.
Melford had a penalty saved after 78 minutes.
The home side increased their lead after 80 minutes via DENIS COEHLO.
HARRY WHITING-NOAKES pulled a goal back for Melford in the 86th minute.
