Long Melford Reserves picked up a useful point at 2nd-placed Wivenhoe Town Reserves.
The first 10 minutes of this match was very open with both teams looking to go for it.
There were half chances at both ends with Robert Dormady causing trouble to the home side down the right wing.
Melford controlled possession for large periods of the game but the home side’s centre backs were playing very well with some excellent last minute tackles to deny the away side.
The second half carried on in similar fashion until two minutes from the end.
Melford took a free kick in the Wivenhoe half only for the home side to break forward quickly and take the lead with a good finish.
Straight from the kick off Melford attacked the home goal and were rewarded when the ball broke to PATRICK BOANCA who slotted the ball away to get the draw with only a few seconds to go.
