Kyle Hurley was amongst the scorers for our Reserves who bounced back from last week’s Chell Trophy exit.
Melford started on the front foot knocking the ball around nicely and were rewarded for their good start with an early goal when striker Will Wingfield turned on the edge of the 18 yard box and curled the ball into the bottom corner.
Melford continued to dominate possession and later in the first half Melford winger Kyle Hurley smashed in a great strike from just inside the 18 yard box.
The second half saw much of the same with a very quick goal coming for the away team to put the score at 0-3. Kyle Hurley shot the ball around the Framlingham keeper before Chris Collins ran onto it and shot into an empty net to ensure all three points for away side.
There were a few good quick breaks forward from the Framlingham side but Melford seemed in control and saw out the game to take the points.
