Despite a much improved performance by the Villagers last night it was the visitors who claimed all three points.
On the scoresheet for Melford were George Day and Will Wingfield (pen), while Matt Walker (pictured) kept his side in the game with some fine goalkeeping.

On Saturday (4th September) Swaffham Town are the visitors to Stoneylands, 3pm kick off. Both sides are without a point so far this season so it will be an important “six pointer” for both clubs.
