Pre-season friendly round-up
The friendlies continued yesterday away to West Wratting from the Kershaw (Cambs) Premier, the home side winning 4-3.
A mixed team from Melford deserve credit for a good contest against opponents with plenty of Thurlow Nunn League experience. Due to Dan Swain’s Stag do, only three of the first team squad featured in the game.
Last weekend our Reserves won 4-3 at Essex University, while in midweek a mixed XI won 3-1 at Old Newton United.
The club’s first home friendly is on Monday night when the Reserves host Bildeston Rangers (7.30pm).
Later in the week the First Team are at home to Brightlingsea Regent on Friday (7.45pm).
